Your drug test request is immediately processed within minutes of being received. A NMS representative selects a convenient collection site, creates the chain of custody, and contacts your employee by phone and email. Live customer service means a representative is available to explain the drug screening process and field any questions your team or employees may have.

Specimen Collection at Over 6,500 locations

Collections take place throughout the United States in over 4,500 labs and 2,000 clinics within our network. Laboratory collection sites are available in all major metropolitan areas. We provide flexibile screening options that give your employees the choice of having an appointment scheduled for them or walking-in to a lab at their convenience to complete their specimen collection. After the specimen collection takes place, NMS transports your employee's specimen to our SAMSHA / NIDA approved laboratory.

Chain of Custody Management

Paper, electronic and beyond! NMS fully manages your CCFs and offers an array of options to do so:

All chain of custodies are individually created by a NMS representative in compliance with your customized program!

Lab Analysis - Initial Test & GC/MS Confirmation

All specimens are tested at our SAMSHA / NIDA approved laboratories. All tests performed are FDA approved. Both initial testing and GC/MS confirmations are included.

Medical Review (MRO)

All abnormalities are reviewed by the MRO. The MRO is a licensed physician who is responsible for reviewing drug test results. The Medical Review Officer provides quality assurance to ensure the validity of the drug test results. Our MRO personally contacts the employee to consult him/her on any abnormality in a confidential, professional manner.

Reporting of Results Through Our Health Depot

Once the drug screen result has been finalized, the result is sent to the employer via the Health Depot (the NMS employee tracking system). Results are HIPAA compliant and are sent through an encrypted secure connection. Most drug screens are reported 18-36 hours after the collection is completed.
